About The Organizers

Johann Romefort

Johann is an entrepreneur and technology advisor with a strong inclination towards systems analysis and design.

With over 25 years of experience in the technology sector, Johann began his career as a software architect, later co-founding and serving as CTO of Seesmic, building a distributed team of over 50 engineers.

Seesmic raised $16 million and was acquired by Hootsuite. After spending seven years in San Francisco immersed in the startup world, Johann relocated to Munich. There, he worked as a Tech Evangelist at Stylight, fostering the local tech community by organizing more than 200 events in three years, including one of Germany's largest Deep Tech conferences.

The DAHO.AM conference attracted 1,500 attendees in 2018.Seeking to broaden his expertise, Johann took on the role of Managing Director at Techstars for the BSH Future Home Accelerator.

He invested in a portfolio of 20 companies in the "Future of Home Living" market between 2018 and 2020.

For the past four years, Johann has been a CTO-In-Residence at Techstars, mentoring and coaching over 300 CTOs.

Additionally, Johann is a Technology Auditor, having conducted numerous Tech Due Diligences for VCs. He is the author of "A Guide to Surviving Tech Due Diligence", an ebook published by CircleCI.Last but not least, Johann consults as a fractional CTO to keep his skills sharp and current.

Andreas Katzig

Andreas, with over a 20 years of experience in technology and product development, has played significant roles in various sectors of the tech industry. His approach, centered around embracing risks and learning from experiences, has contributed to impactful developments in each of his positions.

In the gaming industry, Andreas developed multiple games, including prominent key titles in the "Angry Birds" series which have been successful worldwide. His work there reached over 100 million users, demonstrating his ability to deliver products that resonate on a large scale.

At ottonova, Germany's first purely digital private health insurer, Andreas held the positions of CTO, Managing Director, and Information Security Officer. His efforts were crucial to the rapid growth and development of the company's product development, IT strategy and infrastructure, helping ottonova expand its workforce and services successfully.

Later, at XPAY Holding AG, Andreas’ role as CT(P)O involved guiding the company through a significant transition to an agile framework. His leadership in introducing OKRs and managing new IT and data processes contributed to establishing a scalable infrastructure and developing a key mobile banking app in collaboration with Solarisbank and Visa.

Now, as he steps into consulting, mentoring, and coaching with Linden25, Andreas is set to assist a wide range of startups and established companies in navigating their technological and organizational paths.
